Jaxon Dalena says farewell to SU baseball

In the heart of Montoursville, Pennsylvania, was the stomping ground of Shippensburg University senior baseball player Jaxon Dalena. This is where his dream took flight: to be a college baseball player. Dalena has been playing baseball since he was a child, but did not know the true potential it could bring.

Tennis completes the regular season

Shippensburg University’s women’s tennis team faced Millersville University, West Chester University and Bloomsburg University to finish their regular season this past week. Their overall record finishes at 8-13, and their PSAC record finishes at 1-5.

Tennis splits pair of home matches

The Shippensburg women’s tennis team split home matches this past week against East Stroudsburg University and Shepherd University. Their overall record moves to 7-10.

Lacrosse falls to West Chester and picks up win at Bloomsburg

This past week, the Shippensburg University lacrosse team split a set of games in which they lost at home to West Chester University but picked up a road win at Bloomsburg University. The team currently holds a 7-7 record and sits at 2-7 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East.

Softball goes 3-1, sweeps No. 9 ESU on senior day

In a chaotic week of postponements and tough opponents, Shippensburg University’s softball team split a doubleheader against Shepherd before winning a pair of games against No. 9 East Stroudsburg on Senior Day. SU now sits at 22-14 on the season, 11-9 in conference play.

Softball falls to Kutztown, splits six-game week

  Shippensburg University’s softball team went 3-3 in a busy week of action.  The Raiders split a doubleheader with Mansfield, won two games over Lock Haven and dropped a pair of home games to No. 15 Kutztown. They now sit at 19-13 on the year and 8-8 in conference play.

 Shippensburg University’s Women’s Lacrosse split away games this past week against Shepherd University and Millersville University. The team’s record moves to 6-6.

Lewis sets school record during strong track and field weekend

Shippensburg University’s track and field teams picked up some impressive results this weekend at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Invitational at the University of Lynchburg. The men’s team earned 19 efforts that qualified for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championships, while the women’s team added another 23.

Softball earns four conference wins in perfect week

Following a 1-5 start in conference play, Shippensburg University’s softball team swept a pair of home doubleheaders this week to move to 16-10 on the season. They beat Millersville 6-1 & 4-0 on Tuesday before taking down No. 25 West Chester 4-0 and 5-4 on Saturday.
