Softball qualifies for PSAC berth despite a tough week of play

Shippensburg University’s softball team, despite qualifying for PSAC berth, had a tough week against conference opponents going 1-5. On Tuesday and Saturday, the Raiders were swept in doubleheaders by the West Chester Golden Rams (4-3; 8-2) and the Kutztown Golden Bears (12-7; 11-6). The Raiders split their series on Friday against the Mansfield Mountaineers (8-0; 6-4).  


Students compete at 46th Juried Art Exhibit

Shippensburg University’s Art and Design Department hosted its 46th Annual SU Juried Student Art Exhibition at the Kauffman Gallery on Saturday April 27. The awards were presented at 1:30 p.m. The event showcased 29 students and 50 pieces. 


Lacrosse hosts autism awareness game at home; secures win on the road

Shippensburg University’s women’s lacrosse team went 1-1 this week, falling to the West Chester Golden Rams on Wednesday and defeating the Millersville Marauders on Saturday. The win against Millersville was the team’s first PSAC win of the season moving their PSAC record to 1-8 and their overall record to 3-11. 


Lacrosse suffers tough losses at home

 Shippensburg University’s women’s lacrosse team fell twice this past week to the Bloomsburg Huskies and the Kutztown Bears. The team moves to a 2-10 record overall.  


SU lacrosse falls in home opener games

 Shippensburg University’s women’s lacrosse team suffered tough losses this past week to the Shepherd Rams on Wednesday and the Millersville Marauders on Saturday. The Raiders move to a 1-7 record overall.  


SU men’s basketball drops season finale loss to Shepherd

 Shippensburg University men’s basketball team suffered a loss to Shepherd University last Wednesday to end its 2023-24 season. The team finished with an 8-20 record overall and a 4-18 record in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play.
