Shippensburg University’s men’s and women’s swimming teams concluded the regular season by attending the Stevenson University Invitational on Saturday in Owings Mills, Md. There were no team scores recorded since the meet was a last-chance qualifier and time trials.

The team was originally scheduled to compete at the Navy Invitational, but there was a change of plans.

For the men’s team, freshmen Ezekiel Eberly and Ian Deck recorded season bests, while graduate Josh Wall, junior Mason Koeth and junior Robbie Ferlick paced their respective events.

Eberly earned the fastest 200-yard backstroke time of the Raiders this season, at 1:56.99. He also completed the 50-yard freestyle in 22.39 seconds and the 100-yard freestyle in 53.38 seconds.

Deck scored an improvement to his collegiate best in the 1,000-yard freestyle by recording a time of 10:15.55. He also had the fastest time in the 500-yard freestyle, at 4:56.41.

Wall paced in the 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard IM. Koeth paced in the 100-yard backstroke, and Ferlick paced in the 50-yard freestyle.

As for the women’s team, numerous season bests were recorded. A few Raiders even achieved Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship qualifying times.

Sophomore Kaitlyn Tannenhaus soared in the 100-yard breaststroke with a new personal best of 1:09.91.

Sophomore Olivia Carver and junior Michelle Kubiak delivered noteworthy swims in the 400-yard individual medley. Carver earned a new personal best of 4.39.79, and Kubiak delivered a season best of 4:53.03.

Carver also had the fastest time in the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle. Kubiak featured the fastest times in the 200-yard breaststroke and the 500-yard freestyle.

Other season bests came from freshman Zoe Midura, freshman Bria Burkholder and sophomore Elyse Arnold.

Midura completed the 50-yard freestyle in 25.30 seconds, Burkholder paced the field in 100-yard backstroke with 1:02.71 and Arnold swam the butterfly for a PSAC cut of 1:02.54.

The teams will have a few weeks off before PSACs. The 2026 PSAC Swimming Championships will be held from February 18-21 in York, Pa.
