Shippensburg University’s football team celebrated Senior Day with a 17-13 come from behind win over Mercyhurst University on a windy Saturday afternoon at Seth Grove Stadium.

Wrestling splits dual meet at Bloomsburg

On Wednesday night, the Shippensburg wrestling team traveled to Bloomsburg for a dual meet with Bloomsburg University and Kings College. The Raiders defeated the Monarchs 26-24 but were shutout by the Huskies 57-0.

Wrestling squeaks by Waynesburg

The Shippensburg wrestling team traveled to Waynesburg to face the Hornets on Wednesday night. The match was decided in the heavyweight 285-pound class when Danny Scheib defeated Trent Patrick 3-2.

Field hockey chasing championship

After nearly two years the Shippensburg University field hockey team is returning to the field after having their 2020 fall season canceled due to COVID-19. In the 2019 season, the Raiders went 12-6 and finished third in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC.) They ultimately lost to Millersville in the first round of the PSAC tournament.

The Shippensburg University field hockey team captured the 2021 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship on Sunday defeating West Chester University 3-1.

Football comes from behind to win at ESU

The Shippensburg University football team extended its winning streak over East Stroudsburg University to six consecutive games after rallying for a 24-23 win on Saturday at Gregory Douds-Field at Eiler Martin Stadium.

Volleyball splits PSAC matches

This weekend the Shippensburg University women’s volleyball team split both their PSAC matches against Kutztown and East Stroudsburg Universities. The action started Friday night as the Raiders hosted Kutztown University.

Mens soccer falls to Millersville and Shepherd

The Shippensburg men’s soccer team fell in both of their matches this week by a single goal. On Wednesday the Raiders faced off against Millersville University at David See Field. The Raiders lost to the Marauders 4-3. On Saturday the Raiders fell at Shepherd University 2-1.
