Women’s basketball bounces back from slow start

Shippensburg University women’s basketball earned its first win of 2025 on Saturday, defeating Lincoln (Pa.) 59–55 in overtime to close the Conference Challenge at Heiges Field House. The victory followed a 52–37 season-opening loss to Fayetteville State on Friday.

Men’s cross country wins NCAA Atlantic Regional, women place seventh

For the first time since 2017, Shippensburg men’s cross-country team is on top of the Atlantic Region, winning the NCAA regional at Lock Haven on Saturday. The SU women’s team also had a strong effort, placing seventh of 23 teams.
