Field hockey avenges Millersville

In field hockey, insurance goals are hard to come by, especially when a team is chasing a national title. The Shippensburg University field hockey team got an insurance goal from senior Bre White to propel the Raiders over Millersville University 3–1 in the semifinals of the NCAA tournament on Friday afternoon.

Sophomore forward Stephanie Knauer was just one rebound away from recording her third triple double in her fourth game this season as the Shippensburg University women’s basketball team downed the Lock Haven University Bald Eagles 87-75 inside Heiges Field House on Wednesday night.

Zach Zulli: The progression of a football star

Zach Zulli started his career at Shippensburg University like many others. He redshirted his freshman year to get more familiar with the system. Zulli entered the Raiders’ organization in 2009 as a graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School where he posted big numbers for the Vikings under head coach Scott Reed.

SU women's soccer historical run is cut short
