The Shippensburg University wrestling team lost its final match of the regular season against Kutztown University on Monday night, 30–15.

SU started the night with a win by Dante Steffenino in the 125-pound weight class. Steffenino pinned KU wrestler Nick Lamoreaux at 2:12. After a forfeit win in the next match at 133 pounds, SU had a 12–0 lead.

KU won the next four matches, three by decision and one by pin, to take a 15–12 lead.

Brett Pastore stopped the skid with a decision win at 174-pounds to tie the score at 15–15. The win by Pastore would be the last on the night for the Raiders.

Three out of the four decision wins by KU were by two points or less.

KU closed out the match with two pins at 197 pounds and heavyweight.

With the regular season done, the Raiders will move on to the regional championships that will take place at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown on March 1-2.
