Track-and-field strong in split weekend

The Shippensburg University men’s and women’s track-and-field teams competed this Saturday, grabbing a couple more qualifying times for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship meet. The squad was split competing at Susquehanna University and Pennsylvania State University facilities.

The Shippensburg University men’s basketball team split its two-game slate against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) competition this week, picking up a home win against Mansfield University on Wednesday and falling to West Chester University on the road on Saturday.

The No. 20-ranked Shippensburg University men’s basketball team improved to 8–0 over the weekend, opening Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play with hard-fought wins over the Seton Hill Griffins and the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown Mountain Cats.

Men win second game of break over Cal, 61-58

Despite subpar shooting from beyond the arc and the free throw line, the Shippensburg University men’s basketball team ended the Thanksgiving break with a gritty 61–58 victory over the California University of Pennsylvania (CalU) on Sunday.

Women rebound with win over West Virginia Wesleyan

The Thanksgiving hangover was nonexistent for the Shippensburg University women’s basketball team, as it rebounded from a disappointing loss in its last outing against Jefferson University to claim an impressive 78–60 win over West Virginia Wesleyan College on Sunday night.
