Fabian led IUP with four shots, though none of them found their way to the back of the net. The first of two Raider shots came at nine minutes, 17 seconds.
It looked like Wednesday’s Shippensburg University men’s soccer game was going to need extra time to decide a winner, but a goal in the 73rd minute sealed the Raiders 2–1 victory. The Raiders struck early against West Virginia Wesleyan College.
