Need a simple sweet treat to impress your Valentine? This classic dessert is a classic for a reason. Easy, quick and delicious, these chocolate-covered strawberries will be the highlight of your Valentine’s Day celebration.

Ingredients

1 lb of strawberries

12oz bag of dark chocolate candy melts

White/Milk chocolate candy melts

Sprinkles

1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 12 oz dark chocolate candy melts at 50% power. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth (1-2 minutes total).

3. Hold strawberries by the leaves, dip into the melted chocolate, swirl, and let excess drip off.

4. Place dipped strawberries on the baking sheet. Add Valentine’s Day sprinkles before the chocolate cools.

5. Once set, melt white candy melts the same way. Drizzle over strawberries using a piping bag or a ziplock bag with the tip cut off.

6. Let chocolate cool until dry and enjoy.

Gift these strawberries to your significant other or enjoy them alone in your room! Either way, they’re sure to be a great addition to your holiday.
