Shippensburg students learned about various student organizations at the 2024 Campus Activities Fair on Thursday after the event was rescheduled from the previous week because of a severe thunderstorm.

Cumberland Drive was lined with representatives of over 100 clubs and organizations on Thursday evening, including club sports, sororities, fraternities, student media, performing arts and student services.

The annual event, formerly known as the Student Involvement and Services (SIS) fair, attracted hundreds of students, mainly freshmen, to learn about the different clubs and services Shippensburg University has to offer.

“The SIS Fair is important because it allows Shippensburg students to see what really happens behind the organizations and connect a face to the name,” said 2024-2025 SU PRSSA President Rylee Swails.

Anyone who missed the event can explore and join campus groups on the university’s CampusGroups page, located at https://ship.campusgroups.com/.
