The Shippensburg men’s basketball team traveled to East Stroudsburg and lost in physical battle to the Warriors, 65-52.

Graduate Forward Dom Sleva led the Raiders in scoring with 15 points and 13 rebounds with his 13th double-double of the season.

The Raiders struggled in the first half and committed 16 turnovers in the game.

The Warriors jumped out to a quick 8–2 lead in the first few minutes of the first half. The Raiders quickly responded and brought the deficit down to two and took the lead with a 3-pointer from Sleva.

The Warriors quickly got the lead back after the Raiders held a 3-point lead. The Warriors grabbed the lead and held onto it and had a six-point lead going into the second half.

In the second half, the Warriors continued to extend their lead to over18 points with under three minutes remaining in the game. The Warriors finished the game with a 13-point lead and went on to beat the Raiders 65-52.

The Raiders will have three games this week. They host West Chester at Heiges Field House on Monday, travel to Kutztown on Wednesday and travel to Mansfield on Saturday.

Wednesday’s tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
