Reisner Dining Hall is not a take out food restaurant

Last week my friend and I joined each other for lunch in Reisner Dining Hall. She got two bananas and an apple to enjoy when we heard someone’s voice say, “Excuse me, Miss?” It was a man who works in Reisner, calling for my friend’s attention to tell her that the food on our table could not leave the buidling.

Getting along and living with roommates

The hardest transition for me when I came to college was learning to live with someone. I have never shared a room with a sibling at home, and I expected the worst. I have a very strong personality and if you do not mesh with it, problems tend to occur; but I am very kind and honest. I like to think of new things and beginnings as something great.

Pay it Forward: Break free of the cycle of selfishness

“Give yourself entirely to those around you. Be generous with your blessings. A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal,” a quote by Steve Maraboli. About a year ago, I was in a discussion regarding misconceptions about college students, particularly self-misconceptions.

Social media changes voter privacy

Although I did not pay as much attention to the presidential elections or politics when I was young, I definitely do not remember people being too open on their political stances. Thanks to social media, one can find out another person’s political views by simply visiting his or her Facebook or Twitter.
