The Shippensburg University men’s track and field team performed well in its first competition in over eight weeks, splitting itssquad for competitions at both Penn State University and BucknellUniversity.
The Shippensburg University men’s basketball team split its two-game slate against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) competition this week, picking up a home win against Mansfield University on Wednesday and falling to West Chester University on the road on Saturday.
Manny Span, one of the Raiders’ usual starters, was out of the lineup for Wednesday’s win over Mansfield. He was replaced by Dom Sleva, who recorded a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds in his first career start.
Tara Zollinger, head coach of the Shippensburg University field hockey team, went through a long road of coaching and gaining experience to eventually get the opportunity to coach the Raiders in back-to-back NCAA Division II field hockey championships.
