Enlightening campus with societal perspective one article at a time, Monika Lewis has made waves as an opinion editor for the Slate as she yearns to enact change on campus through the mediums of writing as well as politics. Lewis is a senior political science major at Shippensburg University, and after formerly attending Bridgewater College in Virginia, she followed her cousin to SU after COVID in pursuit of her current major.

The ever-changing culture of relationships has cultivated one of the most uniquely painstaking affairs one can be in: The Situationship.
On Friday, Feb. 4, the Activities Programming Board (APB) held an all-out Nerf War in the ShipRec from 8–10 p.m. Attendees were encouraged to come play team deathmatch and capture-the-flag before finishing the night off with a round of free-for-all.
The Activities Program Board (APB) held its annual Build-a-Buddy event at the CUB on Feb. 4. The event involved a Build-a-Bear-style workshop, at which students take the plush skins of stuffed animals such as dogs, elephants and dolphins and fill the plush skins with cotton stuffing.

The woodwind ensembles of the Shippensburg University music department held their fall semester concert in Old Main Chapel on Nov. 6. Three groups including the flute choir, clarinet ensemble and saxophone ensemble spent the semester coming together and practicing various pieces for this concert.
There is nothing funnier than a comedy of errors, and there are plenty of errors to be found in the recent production of “The Play That Goes Wrong.” Let it be known that when it comes to this show, I mean that in the best way possible.
As a Black woman, the transition to a primarily white institution will never be easy, especially coming from places that do not lack diversity of people who look like you. Nafisah Conix is no stranger to this transition, and she has found a graceful way to stay true to who she is, advocate for herself and make her presence known here at Shippensburg University.
