Amanda Raudabaugh is this week’s Athlete of the Week. Someone who knows a thing or two about breaking SU track records, Raudabaugh recently broke the 22-year-old women’s mark in the 500-meter for indoor track.

The Shippensburg University men’s basketball team fell to East Stroudsburg University Saturday, 69-64 at Heiges Field House. Despite leading, 34-32, at the half, SU could not hold on to its lead.

Pennsylvania mourns the loss of former Penn State coach Joe Paterno after losing battle with lung cancer

A new year has begun and so the calendar changed into 2012. For the last 85 years Joe Paterno has watched the calendar change as he went from a struggling young Italian boy playing ball in the streets of Brooklyn, N.Y, to a hard working quarterback at Brown University, to a legendary head coach at Penn State University, and finally as an icon of the sport of college football.

Sasko adjusts to life in America

In the fall of 2010, Sweden native Philip Sasko made a life-altering decision. After spending two years at Stockholm University, Sasko transferred to Shippensburg University where he is a member of the men’s basketball team.

Flag Football to Hold Playoff

SU Track Qualifies More for Nationals

Published: 04/26/2011 This past weekend, Shippensburg University’s men’s and women’s track teams traveled to Princeton University and East Stroudsburg University. At Princeton, senior Erica Hess set yet another personal record and an NCAA provisional qualifying time in the 400-meter dash of 56.04 seconds.

Maciejewski works way up through SU program

In a time when staying with one employer is growing rare in the working world, a coach in the Shippensburg University football program has done just that. Mark Maciejewski, who played for the Red Raiders from 1989-92, then served as a graduate assistant in the program in the 1995 and 1996 seasons, and came back to Shippensburg as an assistant from 2000-04, then came back to Shippensburg again in the 2006 season, has finished his first season as head coach of the football program.

Men’s Basketball vs. ESU

The Shippensburg University men’s basketball team fell to East Stroudsburg University Saturday, 69-64 at Heiges Field House. Despite leading 34-32 at the half, SU could not hold on to its lead. The Raiders won the tip and started driving into ESU’s man-to-man defense.
