SU swimming dives into another season

With a new school year brings new athletes and yet another season for the fall sports teams. After a successful 2015-2016 season, the Shippensburg University men’s and women’s swim teams are looking to make even bigger waves in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) this fall and winter season.

SU alumna dies in apartment fire

Former Shippensburg University student, athlete and assistant field hockey coach Amanda Strous, Class of 2011, died in an apartment fire in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 18.

SU mourns loss of legendary coach Goodling

In early May, the Shippensburg University family lost one of the major faces of sports at the University. On May 3, 2016, SU’s legendary men’s basketball coach Rodger Goodling peacefully passed away at the age of 79 in his home in Carlisle.
