A ‘Golden City’ with ‘Modern Love” and ‘Wolves’

Late summer nights, long walks on the beach and summer love. These are the things that could be experienced when listening to Coasts, the five-member rock outfit from Bristol, England, consisting of Chris Caines (vocals), Liam Willford (guitar), James Gamage (bass), David Goulbourn (keyboard) and Ben Street (drums). The band’s 16-song debut LP, “Coasts” could be defined as modern day alternative pop (alt-pop) with a heavy dose of love and adventure.

You're a great movie, 'Peanuts'

Adults and children alike have adored the “Peanuts” comic strip for decades. Everyone knows the beloved characters of Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Peppermint Patty and all the adventures they have together while attending elementary school. Personally, I have always appreciated the intelligence of the characters, considering how young they are.

Student music ensembles entrance audiences

Shippensburg University was full of music on Saturday as several SU musical ensembles performed their fall semester concerts. Old Main Chapel hosted the flute choir, the saxophone choir and the clarinet choir all in one day as the groups performed to a packed house; each individual group performed three to four songs of various genres.
