Shippensburg University’s Activities Programming Board (APB) hosted its annual Stuff-A-Plush event as a part of “4 U Week.”

On Friday evening, APB members gathered in CUB MPR A with stuffed animals, friendship bracelets, board games and more. Attendance reached nearly 200 students. Yeti, turtle and goat stuffed toys were popular picks of the night, and students took advantage of the bracelet supplies provided to make collars for their stuffed animals.

Samiyah Williams, a senior student member of APB, helped attendees stuff and sew their new plush friends.

“It's a great chance to get students out of their dorms,” Williams said. “It gives them a chance to actually play games, mingle — that sort of thing.”

Stuff-A-Plush maintains its position as a beloved event, both as an opportunity to adopt a faux-furry friend and to break the ice between students as they enter the spring semester.

Be on the lookout for signup opportunities via the Ship Portal for APB's New York bus trip, which will run at the end of January. In February, APB is hosting Tea My Valentine, offering a variety of loose-leaf and bagged teas for attendees to try.

Further information about APB can be found on their Instagram page, @shipabp.
