Shippensburg Dining Services put together a Food Truck Festival event that was hosted in front of Old Main on Friday, Sept. 26.

Upon arriving, students were given four chips that could be used to eat at any or all the selection of food trucks at the event. The food trucks in attendance are different each year, but because of student recommendations, many returned from last year for the event, including Redemption BBQ who has been at the food truck festival four years in a row.

Acai bowls were available for a healthy treat, and Kona Ice provided a perfect cool down from the days heat. Taco Trap House offered chicken, beef or chorizo taco options. Redemption BBQ had chicken or pork BBQ with a side of smoked mac or coleslaw.

The Food Truck Festival was a great way for students on campus to try a variety food with their friends. After trying the different types of food from the food trucks, students will be awaiting next year’s Food Truck Festival event.
