Shippensburg University’s wrestling team lost at Pitt-Johnstown Thursday evening 0-46 as it concluded the dual meet portion of its schedule.

While points were difficult to put on the board for the Raiders, sophomore Trey Shoemaker stood out at 197 pounds. Shoemaker scored a reversal and a takedown against his opponent. His opponent, No. 5 ranked Dakoda Rodgers, took the riding-time point. Rodgers came out with a 6-5 victory.

Despite no points being put up, the Raiders continue to persevere. The Raiders are now moving into the postseason.

Postseason begins Saturday, March 2, with the NCAA Division II Super Region I Championship at Kutztown University’s Keystone Arena.
