Shippensburg University´s men’s basketball team suffered two crushing losses on the road to West Chester and Lock Haven as the season comes to an end.

Wednesday’s game was dominated by West Chester’s offense, scoring 102 points. The Golden Rams dominated in every fashion, boasting a .541 field goal percentage. Junior Michael Dunn led the Raider’s scoring with 13 points. West Chester blew out the Raiders 102-59, improving their record to 16-9.

The result of Sunday’s matchup at Lock Haven was not much different. Shippensburg maintained a 33-30 lead at the half, but the Bald Eagles had a second half resurgence with offensive domination. They went on to outscore Shippensburg 59-31 in the second half, handing the Raiders their second consecutive blowout loss.

Lock Haven’s superstar of the day was Justice Shoats, dropping 22 points on the Raiders in their dominating second-half victory. Multiple players finished in double figures.

Markus Frank led the Raiders in scoring with 12 points while playing 22 minutes. Donovan Hill had a solid day defensively, leading the team with 12 rebounds.

The Raiders will return home to Heiges Field House for their final matchup against Shepherd University. The game will start on Wednesday at 8 p.m. as the Raiders look to end their season on a high note.
