State police briefs 4.2.19

Drug possession reported in Shippensburg

Brooke Delancy, 23, of Shippensburg, was found to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia after being stopped for traffic violations by Pennsylvania State Police officers in the early morning of March 8. 

Police say Delancy will be charged with drug possession and paraphernalia.

Assault reported in Shippensburg Township

Victor Fermin, 22, of Shippensburg, is accused of assaulting Jesse Smith, 29, and Joshua Berlanger, 23, both of Shippensburg, on March 8. 

Police were dispatched to the 200 block of North Queen Street around 1 a.m. According to police, Fermin assaulted the two men and fled from police. 

Charges are pending.
