This twist on a childhood favorite will surely make any college student feel like they are at their family kitchen table. The peanut butter and jelly sandwich is one that is a staple of simple lunches across the nation. These three ingredients are the key to a cheap and delicious meal for any busy student. One can use a frying pan to toast bread if a panini maker is not readily available in a dorm, house or apartment building.

What you need: 

2 pieces of bread 

Creamy peanut butter 

Grape Jelly  


What you do:

Spread peanut butter on one slice of bread. Spread jelly on the other slice. Put the two pieces together.Place the sandwich on a pre-heated panini maker. Close the top and cook three minutes. Remove, slice in half and serve.
