The Patchwork Fools will make a stop at The Thought Lot on Saturday Nov. 25 as part of their fall tour — accompanied by Tyler Michael Law a senior at Shippensburg University.
The Patchwork Fools are an indie pop band based out of Baltimore, Maryland. The band consists of Will Mason on vocals and guitar, Aviva Match on vocals, Leora Match on vocals and Josh Funk on drums.
Patchwork Fools’ 2017 debut album “Denser Suns” attempts to capture the nostalgia associated with the changing of the seasons. The album features nine songs plus a bonus track titled “Scars.”
“It was a lot of work, full of surprises and a complete roller coaster of emotions,” Josh Funk the drummer for Patchwork Fools said. “We all look back at it with a great deal of nostalgia.”
The band’s most recent release is “Screened,” which was written, arranged and produced in a 24-hour time period. The album has five tracks and bonus track “Smallest Violin.”
Patchwork Fool’s fall tour will feature music from “Denser Suns” and “Screened.” The Thought Lot is the second to last stop on the band’s nine-show tour through Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Tyler Michael Law is a modern folk artist based out of Central Pennsylvania. Law’s sole album “Highway Born” was released in June 2016. The album has six songs and features Macy K. of Hanover, Pennsylvania, on the its second track “Medicine.”
Tickets for the performance by Patchwork Fools and Tyler Michael Law are $5 and can be purchased at the door on the day of the concert and online at thethoughlLot.rocks. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the show will begin at 7 p.m.
