The Lady Raiders sent the SU fans happy against rival Bloomsburg (6-8-2 overall, 5-8-2 PSAC) last Saturday on senior day.

Before the game started, seniors Mackenzie Neal, Brooke Clippinger, Alyssa House and Carolyn Smith were honored for their Raider successes.

The Lady Raiders (4-7-3 overall, 4-7-3 PSAC) connected on two headers to get the victory by a score of 2-0.

Mallory Patterson scored her first goal of the season on an assist from Jenny Litz, lighting up the scoreboard around 39 minutes into the contest.

Shippensburg later put the game away with another headshot by Caitlin Sheehan, assisted by Haley Jones, for her second goal of the season.

The women’s soccer team will travel with the men’s soccer team next weekend to finish the season on the road against Pitt-Johnstown and Seton Hill.
