Taylor Gottshall of Allentown Central Catholic was named PSAC East Volleyball Athlete of the Week on Tuesday afternoon after an impressive week for the Raiders. She hit .362 through four matches and led the Raiders with 48 kills, 16 blocks and 10 aces.

The award is the first of its kind that Gottshall has received.

In the Marauder Clash hosted by Millersville University this past weekend the Raiders swept Chestnut Hill. Gottshall recorded 15 kills, two blocks and two service aces. In the second set of games, a five-set loss vs. Goldey-Beacom, she tallied 15 more kills, hit .462 and put up a pair of service aces with four blocks.

When the Raiders swept Stonehill, Gottshall was right there with six kills, four aces, nine digs and five blocks while hitting .385.

The tournament finale, a 3-1 win over Holy Family, she had 12 kills, five blocks and two more aces.
