Starbucks brought back their pumpkin spice line for fall early, so I present you with a cheap, healthy(ish) pumpkin smoothie to enjoy during the blissful summer-to-fall transition, instead of a $6 Frappuccino.

This recipe has been given rave reviews, such as “Laura, why are you making these, it’s summertime,” by my mom and a blank stare from my roommate.

But don’t take their words for it!

Stuff you need:

Blender
Canned pumpkin, 1/3 cup
Sugar or stevia, 2 teaspoons
Pumpkin pie spice, ½ teaspoon
Ice, 4-5 cubes
Plain greek yogurt, 1/3 cup
Milk, enough to cover the ice cubes

Add four or five ice cubes to the blender and cover them with milk. Blend. Add in the sugar and spice. Blend again. Finally, add in the pumpkin and Greek yogurt and give the blender a last rip. Pour it in to a cup. Thank me later.
