UPDATE: Sandy impacts SU

UPDATE: Students woke up Tuesday morning to a very light rain and an overcast sky, but significantly brighter than Monday.

There are no power outages on campus. Also, there is very minimal damage, if any at all on campus. According to Asst. Sports Editor Nick Sentman, clean up crews have been driving around to ensure the roads are clear.

Superstorm Sandy caused Shippensburg University to cancel classes for Monday on Sunday evening. Students woke up to an email announcing canceled classes on Tuesday as well. The university shut down Monday afternoon and will remain closed unti Tuesday.
