The Shippensburg women’s basketball team took early advantage of a horrendous shooting effort by East Stroudsburg, and cruised to a victory Saturday afternoon at Heiges Field House.

At Princeton, senior Erica Hess set yet another personal record and an NCAA provisional qualifying time in the 400-meter dash of 56.04 seconds.
Published: 04/26/2011 So spring sports at Shippensburg University are winding down, and I just have to say I am very disappointed. Not in the performance of the teams themselves, but in the student turnout at events.
In a time when staying with one employer is growing rare in the working world, a coach in the Shippensburg University football program has done just that. Mark Maciejewski, who played for the Red Raiders from 1989-92, then served as a graduate assistant in the program in the 1995 and 1996 seasons, and came back to Shippensburg as an assistant from 2000-04, then came back to Shippensburg again in the 2006 season, has finished his first season as head coach of the football program.

The Shippensburg University men’s basketball team was unable to find much success on the offensive end of the court on Wednesday night, as the Raiders fell to Bloomsburg, 75-54 from Nelson Field House. The 54 points are the second-fewest SU has scored in a game this season.
