SU slips up late in season, falls to Huskies on Tuesday in PSAC playoff

The Shippensburg women’s basketball team overcame a sluggish first half start to overcome No.3-seed Millersville University ,60-54, in a regular season contest at Heiges Field House on Wednesday night Coming off a big game on Saturday, Sarah Strybuc continued her scoring ways as she netted 20 points, including two big 3-pointers in the first half that helped catapult SU from the brink of utter collapse.

SU plays in Play 4 Kay event

Shippensburg University went pink as it held its Play4Kay night on Wednesday when the men’s and women’s basketball teams played host to West Chester for a night of basketball, honoring Kay Yow and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Fans wearing pink were granted free admission to the women and men’s basketball games and were given free rally towels.
