Swimming has strong showing at PSAC Championships

The Shippensburg University men’s and women’s swim teams ended their seasons in style over the weekend, with the men finishing sixth and the women finishing third at the 2016–17 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship Meet on Feb. 16–19 at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pennsylvania.

Raiders blow by Cheyney in home finale

After a loss on the road to West Chester University Wednesday, the Shippensburg University men’s basketball team (22-3, 18-3 PSAC) was looking to right the ship with a strong performance Saturday against Cheyney University (2-24, 2-19 PSAC).

Beasts of the East: Raiders roll on Senior Day

After clinching its first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Division title in school history Wednesday, the Shippensburg University women’s basketball team rolled Cheyney University Saturday, 73–45.

The Shippensburg University field hockey team, fresh off a national championship, announced Tara Zollinger as the new head coach Tuesday, following the retirement of Hall of Fame coach Bertie Landes.

SU alumnus Kuhn re-signs with Saints

The chants of “KUUUUHHHHNN” will ring out for at least one more season in New Orleans. According to NOLA.com, the Saints resigned the Shippensburg University standout, John Kuhn, to a one-year extension.

SU beats Bloomsburg, loses to Kutztown

The third chapter in a bitter rivalry came to an end, with the Shippensburg University men’s basketball team (18–2, 14–2 PSAC) falling at Heiges Field House to Kutztown University (17–2, 13–2 PSAC), 81–75.

The Shippensburg University wrestling team returned home Saturday after a lengthy road trip to take on Wheeling Jesuit University, West Liberty University and Long Island University Post (LIU Post).
