Volleyball continues strong PSAC play

Homecoming weekend saw the Shippensburg University volleyball team split a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matches to Central Division foes University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown (UPJ) and Lock Haven University inside Heiges Field House.

SU swimming splits conference opener

The Shippensburg University swim teams opened their 2017 season with a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover meet with Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) on Wednesday evening at Donald N. Miller Pool inside Heiges Field House.

Red Raiders fall to Golden Rams, 37-27

The Shippensburg University football team faced its first real test on Saturday against West Chester University and the Red Raiders (5-1, 2-1 PSAC East) were sharp on their opening drive, going straight down the field in less than two minutes for a touchdown.

XC wins Carnegie Mellon invite

It was a special day on Saturday for the Shippensburg University men’s cross-country team, as it placed five runners in the Top 10 and two more in the Top 16.

Men’s soccer shuts out Pitt-Johnstown

After a rough previous week, the Shippensburg University men’s soccer team bounced back with two wins in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) against the Bloomsburg University Huskies and the Mountain Cats of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.

The Shippensburg University volleyball team continued its roll through conference play this past weekend with dominant home triumphs over East Stroudsburg University and Kutztown University as it remains unbeaten in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) including a seven-game win streak.

The Shippensburg University football team has enjoyed a brilliant 5-0 start to the 2017 season, but the team’s main goal before the season started was to find itself playing for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship come season’s end.

Swimming ready for successful campaign

The 2017 Shippensburg University swimming teams were extremely successful last season, but it was the women’s team that exploded onto the scene with a third-place finish at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships behind an incredible meet by Stephanie O’ Toole.

After three long road trips, the Shippensburg University football team made its return to Seth Grove Stadium a triumphant one, keeping Lock Haven University from getting any momentum in a 37-6 win on Saturday.

Field Hockey rallies around teammate

Last season, the Shippensburg University field hockey team was shaken to the core when the news of former player and assistant coach Amanda Strous’ death was revealed on a warm June night, but the team persevered and won a national title with her in mind.
