Football stumbles in home opener

The Shippensburg University football team could not overcome a flat first-half performance in what amounted to a 48-28 defeat at the hands of Clarion University in the Red Raider’s home opener on Saturday afternoon at Seth Grove Stadium.

Women’s soccer shoots for rebound season

The Shippensburg University women’s soccer team looks to improve upon their disappointing 2018 season, where they finished 7-10-1. They will do so without seven departed seniors: Chloe Flemion, Kiersten Priest, Keegan White, Beth McGee, Mariah Varner, Lexi Albert and Lauren Krenzke.

Boxing club athletes qualify for national championships

A new era of Shippensburg University boxing has brought success, already. As members of the athletic club competed in the National Collegiate Boxing Championships this season, sophomore Clayton Wilson was one of two athletes to qualify for nationals.

Lacrosse falls twice at home

Track-and-field has good split-squad meets

The Shippensburg University men’s and women’s outdoor track-and-field teams were split this weekend at the College of William and Mary for the Colonial Relays, and at Millersville University for the Millersville Metrics.
