Women’s squad picks up seven NCAA provisional qualifying marks at meet
ByAmanda Raudabaugh became Shippensburg University’s third NCAA automatic qualifier of the weekend on Sunday from Bucknell as the Shippensburg University women’s track and field squad finished the two-day Bison Outdoor Classic with seven performances that satisfied the NCAA provisional qualifying standard. Raudabaugh finished third in Sunday’s race with a time of 2:09.02 becoming the fastest in Division II this season and she was less than two seconds shy of her school record that she set at the 2010 national championships. Lindsay Bingaman, still in her first season as a regular 800-meter runner, posted a huge personal record and provisional mark of 2:10.20 that ranks her third in Division II for the event. Caitlin Stuetz narrowly increased her season personal record in the 400-meter hurdles with another NCAA provisional qualifying mark, crossing the finish line in 1:02.14.
