The biggest question that has been floating around the tech and video game world for the past few months has been straight forward: “Are you going next gen?” For many, this means possibly getting rid of their Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 for an Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

Everyone has shared an awkward moment at one time or another, but director Tom Gormican takes it to a whole other level in his film “That Awkward Moment.” Gormican started as a director with the blundering failure “Movie 43” and those of you who missed it, consider yourselves lucky.
Sam Hunt is becoming one of Nashville’s most popular up-and-coming talents. He has co-written with some of the biggest names in country music and currently has two songs on the Billboard’s Hot Country Songs charts, including Keith Urban’s newest single “Cop Car.” He also has a rising career as a solo performer.
It has been a while since a script with such a simple concept based on the most basic human emotion, love, has been able to capture hearts of both average moviegoers and critics alike.
Every so often, it’s the ’50s all over again. “Grease,” “Happy Days,” “M*A*S*H” — we never really let go of that decade.
This Oscar season is one of the best in recent history. Ground breaking films like “Gravity” and “12 Years a Slave” have given this year’s Oscar voters a very difficult decision in choosing the best picture.
Sunday was a sad day for all film fans, who lost one of the best actors in the modern era, Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
I don’t think it quite hit me until the marquee from the historic Tower Theater in downtown Upper Darby was finally in view, reading “TONIGHT 8:30, NEUTRAL MILK HOTEL, SOLD OUT”. There was a time for many Neutral Milk Hotel fans that they would have thought this an impossible sight.

Award show season plays an important role in the New Year, marking the conclusion of the previous year’s entertainment industry. This year’s Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards praised numerous actors, musicians, directors and writers for their work in films and television shows we all enjoyed in 2013. While cracking jokes and poking fun at those in attendance, including the nominees, the pair succeeded in making the Hollywood A-listers feel welcome along with prepared for the evening ahead. Fey and Poehler made their second round at hosting a memorable ceremony for everyone involved.
