On Sunday, April 24 more than 60 people gathered at 10 a.m. at Shippensburg University for the 5th annual Dash for Diabetes. Sponsored by Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority, the event started after active sister, Emily Norman, passed away from diabetes. The 5K started with a speech by Dash for Diabetes chair, Kaiti Fox. After the speech, 30 balloons were released to honor Emily Norman.
