Students enjoy warm weather and activities during impromptu 'Raider Rest Day'

March 11, 2021 at 8:29 pm

Shippensburg University officials canceled classes Thursday afternoon following a campus-wide power outage. Officials initially only canceled morning classes but then canceled all classes around 11 a.m. Power was restored around 12:30 p.m.

Students enjoyed the day off outside with a variety of activities. Temperatures reached the upper 70s, according to Tim Hawkins of the geography and earth science department.
