Residents and visitors of Shippensburg alike flooded the seats of the Luhrs Performing Arts Center to witness the one-of-a-kind performance from the Blue Man Group on the nights of March 11 and 12.

This performance has a little bit of everything for everyone, with fun music moments with paint drums, a “drumbone,” which is half drum and half trombone, a big drum and an instrument made out of PVC pipes. Along with the music, the comedic moments shone through the entire show, with the Blue Men managing to make the audience laugh whilst not speaking a word.

Blue Man Group performed on Mar. 10 and Mar. 11.

Audience involvement is another key aspect of the Blue Man Group’s shows, where they bring audience members on stage and utilize mobile cameras to display these interactions on the big screen for all to see.

“Blue Man Group will rock your world. Blow your mind. And unleash your spirit,” according to the Blue Man Group’s website. “As three bald and blue men explore our world, together we’ll discover music, laughter and surprises at every turn.”

The Blue Man Group visited Shippensburg as part of their 2026 North American Tour, where they are traveling all across the United States to perform.
