Shippensburg University is taking submissions for the 45th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition, sponsored by the SU Minds@Work Conference.

SU students can submit up to five pieces of art to participate in a “real world” juried art competition, with a cash prize of $2,500. The categories this year are ceramics, digital fine art printing, drawing, graphic design, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.

Submissions must be photographed and turned in as a .jpg file by April 7. Students must also hand deliver their entries to Kauffman Gallery on April 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Judging will begin the following day, April 11.

The Juried Student Art Exhibition will hold an opening reception April 22 from 1 p.m to 3 p.m., and awards will be presented at 1:30 p.m. The exhibit will also be available online from May 15, 2023, to March 1, 2024.
