The Raider Rapid Response (R3) Testing center reopened and resumed weekly testing for Shippensburg University students, according to an email from the SU COVID office.

The R3 Center is partnered with the Pennsylvania branch of AMI Labs to provide testing for students. Officials said nasal swab COVID tests will be provided instead of saliva sample tests and AMI will process the R3 center’s samples.

A licensed technician will conduct a “non-invasive nasal swab,” according to the Raider Respect website. Students can sign up to schedule an appointment at ship.edu/R3 or by using the QR code below.

“Students are expected to keep their masks on, maintain social distance, attend classes and participate in on-campus activities while awaiting test results,” the Raider Respect website says.

Students should get results within 24-48 hours of the date and time of their test, the email said.

The Raider Respect website said the R3 center will give students a “supplemental card” with their name and date of their test to show that the student is within the current test program, but it will not include the test results.

The R3 testing center is located in the Airport Lounge of the Ceddia Union Building and operates Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
