Hallow Creek Band will be opening for the Bovine Social Club at The Though Lot Saturday for a live album release.

Hallow Creek is a country rock duo located in East Berlin, Pennsylvania. The band consists of Patrick “Boo” Rorrer on the guitar and vocals and Walter Russell Shipley III on the guitar, bass and banjo.

The duo considers their band to be unique, true, real and soulful. They pride themselves on producing meaningful, tasteful music that speaks to their audience. Hallow Creek writes their own music and all their songs derive from different life experiences and obstacles that they had to overcome to be where they are today. The band’s sound has a mixture of traditional country, modern rock, combined with their own personal originality.

Hallow Creek has played in a multitude of different cities up and down Pennsylvania. They have also played in Maryland and Tennessee. The upcoming musicians are looking to make it big and be the next “best thing since peanut butter and jelly.” They already have a great following throughout Pennsylvania and Tennessee and receive great feedback from their music. With only one listen to their music, their fans are completely overcome with emotion because of their soulful touch, and how smoothly Walter is able to compliment Boo’s vocals.

“It’s all God’s work now, he is my motivation, and it gives me goose bumps when fans come up to us and says how our music has touched their lives,” Boo said.

The band is travelling to Nashville in early May to record their second studio album.
