College is a unique period in our lives. While striving to find a balance between academics and a social life, things are bound to happen that are out of our control.

The years spent seeking a college degree are not simple. Our focus is often forced to be redirected to other matters such as illnesses, relationship problems or family issues.

As a part of a generation that is always on the go, it is easy to become stressed from all that surrounds us. Sometimes it is hard to have hope for a better tomorrow. That is why the Counseling Center offers free services to students. Accept the help from certified psychologists right here on campus to gain the support you need.

Maybe you have got it all together, but are you ready to take on the real world after graduation? You do not have to try to tackle the task of writing your resume all on your own.

Whether you have already gotten started, or you have not even begun, the Career Center has skilled professionals to help you develop a top-notch resume that will stand out among the rest. Check out the list of resources at www.ship.edu/career/students to jump-start your career and stay in the loop about upcoming workshops, career fairs and recruitment
