Well so much for breaking streaks.

The Shippensburg University tennis team failed at its attempt to win two matches in a row for the first time since the 2008–2009 season with a 9–0 drubbing at the hands of West Chester University Tuesday afternoon at the Robb Sports Complex tennis courts.

Julia Saintz and Brittnee Buckley were the only ones to register points for the Raiders in the doubles matchups. Singles results were not much better as Buckley, Cassie Sidone, Lisa Snader and Hannah Wolfe each earned one point.

The Raiders (1–8) have been shut out four times this season, and ten times over the last two years.

SU returns to action with a 10 a.m. match with at Bloomsburg University.
