Freshman Hannah Marsteller smashes a three-run homer in the Raiders’ 14-6 season-ending loss to West Chester University. Marsteller picked up five hits in nine at-bats during the Raiders’ three-game run at the PSAC tournament. The freshman infielder finished the season with 10 homers and 13 doubles.

Softball's season comes to an end

The Shippensburg University softball team fell short in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, losing to West Chester University 14–6 on Thursday afternoon. 

Courtney Coy drove in two runs in the loss against Caldwell University on Sunday. Coy is having a breakout season, batting .456 and leading the team in RBIs.

Softball loses three of four

The Shippensburg University softball team (15-11, 1-1 PSAC) will look to improve after losing three out of four games this weekend. 

The Raiders continued their excellent hitting this season in wins against both IUP and UPJ this weekend. The team totaled a combined 24 runs on 27 hits in its Saturday doubleheader sweep of IUP. Success at the plate has played a big role in why the team is sitting in second place in its division.

Softball wins three of four

The Shippensburg University softball team (14-8) won three out of its four games this weekend against Indiana University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.

Men’s basketball ends season with loss to Golden Rams

The Shippensburg University men’s basketball team narrowly missed out on a spot in the NCAA Division II Championship tournament after losing in the quarterfinals of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) tournament to West Chester University, 89–72, on March 13 from the Golden Rams’ home court.

The Shippensburg University men’s basketball team ground out a tough 71-70 win against Lock Haven University in the first round of the PSAC Championship tournament Monday night at Heiges Field House.

Conference title hopes bright for men’s basketball

The hard work of the Shippensburg University men’s basketball team this season resulted in the team being able to make it into the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships tournament once again.
