Wrestling falls to ESU on the road

 Shippensburg University’s wrestling team was bested by East Stroudsburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) dual meet on Tuesday on the road, 41-8.

Shippensburg University alumni Neely Spence Gracey ’12, Matt Gillette ’13/’16M and Katrina Spratford-Sterling ’13 participated in the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials on Feb. 3 in Orlando, Florida.


Swimming competes at Navy Invitational

 Shippensburg University’s men’s and women’s swimming teams both ended their regular seasons Saturday at the 2024 Navy Invitational in Maryland. 


Swim competes at Gettysburg Invitational

 Shippensburg University’s swim teams competed at the Gettysburg Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College on Friday and Saturday. Freshman Jazz Barry impressed with several SU all-time Top 10 performances for the women’s team. 


Football wins last game of the season on Senior Day

 Shippensburg University football celebrated a 17-10 victory over Gannon in its final game of the season on Senior Day thanks to a dominating performance by the defense on Saturday in Seth Grove Stadium. 


Men’s cross country qualifies for nationals; women finish fifth at Atlantic Regionals

 Shippensburg University’s men’s cross-country team qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships with a third-place finish at the Atlantic Region Championships that were held at Lock Haven University on Saturday.   The women’s team placed fifth at the championship, beating their seventh-place seed and placing third out of all the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) schools participating. 


Women’s soccer records consecutive wins

  Shippensburg University’s women’s soccer team capped off a successful week with two wins, blanking both Millersville on Wednesday and East Stroudsburg on Saturday 1-0 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchups.


Quinan, men win PSAC Cross Country Championships; women place 5th

 Shippensburg University´s men’s and women’s cross-country teams finished a successful weekend with two, a team and an individual, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship titles on the men´s side and a fifth-place team finish on the women´s side.
