Softball goes 5-1 for the week, sweeps ESU and Frostburg

 Shippensburg University’s softball team had a successful week, going 5-1 against regional and conference foes. On Wednesday, the Raiders swept regional foe Frostburg State (9-5; 4-0) and then they carried the success into Saturday, when they swept Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) opponent East Stroudsburg University (3-2; 6-2). On Sunday, SU split its doubleheader against PSAC rival Bloomsburg (9-5; 10-2). 


SU Baseball sweeps Holy Family

 Shippensburg University’s baseball team dominated Holy Family in both games of its doubleheader on a windy and cloudy Friday at Fairchild Field, 8-2 and 4-0. 


Wrestling falls to ESU on the road

 Shippensburg University’s wrestling team was bested by East Stroudsburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) dual meet on Tuesday on the road, 41-8. 


SU Alumni compete at U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials

Shippensburg University alumni Neely Spence Gracey ’12, Matt Gillette ’13/’16M and Katrina Spratford-Sterling ’13 participated in the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials on Feb. 3 in Orlando, Florida.


Swimming competes at Navy Invitational

 Shippensburg University’s men’s and women’s swimming teams both ended their regular seasons Saturday at the 2024 Navy Invitational in Maryland. 


Swim competes at Gettysburg Invitational

 Shippensburg University’s swim teams competed at the Gettysburg Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College on Friday and Saturday. Freshman Jazz Barry impressed with several SU all-time Top 10 performances for the women’s team.
