Cole Kropnick, 11, is one of SU’s key players this season after scoring 10 goals to go with 3 assists on his way to All-PSAC Second Team honors in 2017.

Dustin Sleva’s agency recently announced that he has signed a professional contract with newly-formed French team Paris Basketball. Sleva graduated in May after a star-studded four-year collegiate career with the Raiders. He owns several school records, including most career points and most career rebounds.

Dustin Sleva was one of SU’s most dominant players during his time at Shippensburg. After being one of the PSAC’s top big men, Sleva will now look to take his success on the court to Paris via the LNB Pro B.

Women's soccer resets for new season

When the Shippensburg University women’s soccer team finished 6-11-1 and missed the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) playoffs last season, many players walked away from the year disappointed and with a bad taste in their mouths.

Taylor Moore was one of SU’s breakout performers last season in her freshman campaign. Moore finished the season with five goals and 10 points, both good enough for second on the team behind Izzy Weigel.

Ally Mooney was honored to receive the Strous Memorial Field Hockey Scholarship this season. Mooney, as well as the rest of the team, are hoping to capture another national championship in her final year at SU.

At a snail's pace: baseball's pace of play issue a slippery slope

It’s 11:30 p.m. A pitcher out of the bullpen just finished warmup pitches and the game is set to resume in the 12th inning. The stands are empty, with the majority of the crowd having left at 10 p.m. Fans at home watching on TV have either changed the channel or have fallen asleep on the couch.

Two Raiders selected in 2018 MLB Draft

Former Raiders Cash Gladfelter and Gabe Mosser were selected in the 2018 MLB Draft earlier today. Both players were star contributors to the SU baseball team during their time at the university.

Shippensburg's men's frisbee finishes third at regionals, misses nationals

The Shippensburg University men’s ultimate frisbee club came up just short of qualifying for the D-III National Championships Sunday, placing third out of 12 teams at the Ohio Valley Regional Tournament in Columbus, Ohio.

The Shippensburg University softball team got nine hits from its seniors on Friday, celebrating a special Senior Day home finale with a doubleheader sweep of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division rival Millersville by scores of 7-0 and 5-4 from Robb Field that clinched a playoff berth for the Raiders.

Lacrosse edged on memorable Senior Day by The Rock, 11-10
