Women's basketball grinds out PSAC wins

The Shippensburg University women’s basketball team opened Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play with a double-digit win over Seton Hill University (77–67) in a back-and-forth contest.

The Shippensburg University women’s basketball team (0-1) fell on Saturday evening to the visiting Bowie State University Bulldogs (1-0), 60-52, at Heiges Field House.

Women close out soccer season

The Shippensburg University women’s soccer team (7-10-1, 5-10-1 PSAC) finished the season on a sour note, falling to longtime rival Slippery Rock University (12-4-2, 10-4-2 PSAC) 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Raiders grind out win over Golden Knights, 3-2

The Shippensburg University women’s soccer team bested Gannon University, 3–2, in a physical matchup between the two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) teams. The Golden Knights controlled the tempo early on Friday’s gloomy afternoon and jumped out to a quick 2–0 lead off goals by Aesling McCullough and Hannah Hays in the third and sixth minutes, respectively.
