Members of the Shippensburg community formed a human chain along King Street to show unity in the face of the strife recent events such as a drug overdose, racial intimidation and drug-related homicide have brought to the town.
The Shippensburg University Department of Music and Theatre Arts presented the brass and string ensemble recital last Sunday in Old Main Chapel. Several smaller brass ensembles opened the recital, followed by the string ensemble performance. Afterward, the full brass ensemble took the stage and wrapped up the performance.
