The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Board of Governors (PASSHE) named Charles Patterson as the 18th president of Shippensburg University. The unanimous vote is effective immediately.

The search for the next Shippensburg University President has begun. At last week’s Council of Trustees meeting, members of the council were appointed to a presidential search committee. It’s Vaccination Week at Shippensburg University. Students are encouraged to submit proof of having received the COVID-19 vaccine, learn about the vaccine and get the vaccine, according to Chris Clarke the director of the SU COVID Office.
